The Repowering School Bus Fleets project by Louisiana Future Projects Corporation focuses on transforming diesel school buses into electric vehicles, powered by renewable energy. This initiative addresses climate change, reduces air pollution, and improves public health by utilizing cutting-edge solar infrastructure and advanced EV technology.

Our Goals

Goal	Description
Electrify School Buses	Convert 27 diesel buses to electric vehicles, targeting 3 conversions per month.
Reduce Air Pollution	Significantly decrease harmful emissions such as NOx and particulate matter (PM).
Implement Solar Charging	Install solar-powered DC fast charging stations to ensure clean energy usage.

Key Strategies

Retrofitting diesel buses with state-of-the-art electric motor systems.
Installing solar panels and battery storage systems for sustainable charging infrastructure.
Engaging the community with job training programs for green technologies.
Collaborating with schools to ensure reliable and safe transport for students.
